Poetry Writing Class

  LISTEN TO THE HOMELESS

their melody

men and women standing in line

inside your mind

need to reach as far as you can to make them smile

each one is not indifferent to your arrival

the way you touch them

  Untitled

going round and around like a top

Another life was buried in the warm sand
up to the nose

Let's go hunting wild things
in a deep snowy wood
where our footprints may be revealed
