San Francisco Arts Commission Neighborhood Arts Festival
"Nurturing arts for and by the people where they live and work."
April 21 - May 3, 2008

Guess who's 40 now? Celebrate four decades of the Neighborhood Arts Program this spring. Join the San Francisco Arts Commission for two weeks of events that spotlight community arts in San Francisco's neighborhoods. Expect musical performances; a reading with San Francisco literati, including poet laureates past and present; lively panel discussions; and even a speed dating session matching up artists with community organizations.

Buy a $10 ticket and help support the programs of Central City Hospitality House! Your ticket entitles a 10-20% discount off almost EVERYTHING at Macy’s Union Square on May 17, 2008. Enjoy special events, product samplings, beauty galas, and more! Plus, enter to win a $500 Macy’s Shopping Spree!

100% of the proceeds from tickets sold by volunteers will be donated to Central City Hospitality House. In addition, Macy’s associates are selling tickets and Central City Hospitality House will share these proceeds with other charities participating in Community Shopping Day.

23rd Annual Art Auction
Benefiting the Community Arts Program

Hospitality House’s 23rd Annual Art Auction, will take place on May 29, 2008 at the Dolby Chadwick Gallery in San Francisco’s Union Square. This popular event brings together diverse and exciting works by nationally-acclaimed artists and Community Arts Program participants in a live and silent auction well attended by collectors, gallery owners, artists and art enthusiasts. We hope you will join us this year to support equal access to opportunities for creative expression and exploration.
