Run with Ronnie!

Thank you to our friends at Heist for this amazing video:

Ronnie Goodman is a self-taught homeless artist and runner living in San Francisco. On July 27th he ran the Second Half of The San Francisco Marathon (with an impressive time of 1hr and 43minutes!) to raise funds and awareness for Hospitality House and their ongoing efforts in the city. Hospitality House’s mission is to build community strength by advocating policies and rendering services which foster self-sufficiency and cultural enrichment to make the heart of San Francisco a better place for us all. One example of their mission in action is the Community Arts Program (CAP), which provides a free-of-charge art studio, art guidance and supplies to community artists in San Francisco who otherwise wouldn't have the means to create art. Ronnie has been involved with the Community Arts Program for over ten years and will created an original piece of art that was raffled off in support of the Hospitality House and CAP.

You can still make a donation towards our goal of raising $25,000 for Hospitality House's critical programs! With these important funds, Hospitality House could provide our community with peer-led programs, buy art supplies for hundreds of artists, and help improve the well-being of San Francisco through many other services.
