Joe Wilson - Executive Director HH

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Joe Wilson was hired in May 2017 to succeed long-time Executive Director Jackie Jenks. Joe previously served as Hospitality House’s Community Building Program Manager as well as Deputy Director of Programs. Prior to Hospitality House, Joe was the Assistant Organizing Director for the 1.4 million-member American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME), oversaw AFSCME’s Western Region training programs for emerging leaders, and was the statewide director of the California Child Care Campaign to organize nearly 30,000 family child care providers. For nearly a decade, Joe was Associate Director at Coleman Advocates for Children & Youth, the City’s premier child advocacy group, and oversaw multi-year policy and organizing campaigns that secured nearly $140 million in local, federal, and state money for children, early educators, and working families. Joe was a founding member of the Coalition on Homelessness in 1987, one of America’s premier advocacy groups for the rights of unhoused people, and the Coalition for Ethical Welfare Reform in 1996. Joe has served on the boards of Swords to Plowshares, Inner City Youth, and the Coalition on Homelessness (since 2013). In 1988, he co-wrote a policy study that helped create the Community Housing Partnership (now HomeRise). Joe is the former co-chair of the Homeless Emergency Service Providers Association (HESPA) and current Steering Committee member for the SF Human Services Network.  Joe is a former shelter resident and peer staff member of Hospitality House.

WINDY CLICK

ASSOCIATE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Windy Click joined Hospitality House in 2013 as an on-call staff member working at all programs. As a formerly incarcerated woman who spent 17 years inside a women’s facility, Windy was determined to acclimate herself to society by providing service to others in need. In 2015, Windy joined the agency’s Community Building Program as a Peer Advocate Community Organizer, utilizing her previous experience in community organizing while incarcerated. After developing her leadership skills, Windy was eventually hired to lead the Community Building Program as the Program Manager in December 2016. In February 2020, Windy was honored by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors for her success in community organizing and increasing voter turnout in the Tenderloin neighborhood. In October 2020, Windy assumed the role of the Director of Community Engagement, overseeing the agency’s Shelter Program and Community Building Program, and in July 2024, she became the first Associate Executive Director of Hospitality House.

MARA RAIDER

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Mara Raider joined Hospitality House in June 2012. She previously worked in Finance at the San Francisco Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center for five years. Mara’s administrative experience began at the Coalition on Homelessness (COH), where she worked as the bookkeeper and controller for two years. Prior to working in administration, she was an organizer at the COH for 14 years, where she led the Civil Rights Project.

ALLAN SAMSON MANALO

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

A. Samson Manalo joined Hospitality House in August 2013 as a Development Manager, which led to his current role as the Director of Development in 2015. He received a B.S. Degree in Business Management from San Francisco State University and is a theater director, producer, author, and comic who has performed throughout the U.S. and Asia. He was a former Artistic & Managing Director of Bindlestiff Studio, a black box theater venue for Filipino American artists located in San Francisco's South-of-Market Area (SoMa), where he also served as chairperson on the SoMa Stabilization Fund Community Advisory Committee for more than a decade. He is also a board member of the Tenants and Owners Development Corporation, aka TODCO.

DEWAYNE COBB

DIRECTOR OF TRAINING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Dewayne Cobb was hired in 2010 as both an on-call peer advocate and an on-call janitor. He moved into a Peer Advocate position in 2011 and, within a year, became a Case Manager for Hospitality House’s Community Building Program. In December 2016, after four years of case management work, Dewayne became the Program Manager for the Tenderloin Self-Help Center. During the Fall of 2022, Dewayne was selected as Director of Training & Organizational Development. From an on-call janitor to a Hospitality House Director’s role, Dewayne’s remarkable story is a shining example of the organization’s commitment and belief in its peer-based model.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Paul Sedita was hired in 2010 to support the human resources and facilities management areas of the organization. Paul has previously worked in administrative management for San Francisco Vocational Services and the Harm Reduction Coalition. He has extensive experience in facilities management, human resources, and working with marginalized communities. In July 2022, Paul was promoted to Deputy Director of Operations.

ALISHA COLEMAN

DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF HR AND COMPLIANCE

Alisha Coleman joined the Hospitality House team in July 2018 as a peer advocate, and by 2019, she became a Case Manager working closely with Tenderloin community members in finding housing and employment. In November 2019, she was promoted to run the agency’s Shelter Program, which has recently transitioned into a Shelter-In-Place hotel. Prior to her years at Hospitality House, Alisha worked for the California Coalition for Women Prisoners (CCWP). During her incarceration, she found her passion to be a voice for the voiceless. She remembers being in the same system and cycle as the population she currently helps. Her connection to the Tenderloin is deeply rooted in the community and embodies Hospitality House's peer-based model. In July 2025, Alisha became the new Deputy Director of HR and Compliance.

COMMUNITY BUILDING PROGRAM MANAGER

Jesus Ceja joined Hospitality House in 2022 as a bilingual case manager, serving both the agency's Shelter Program and Community Building Programs. In that role, he helped many community members move from homelessness into stable housing. His dedication and compassion quickly stood out, leading to his promotion to Training Coordinator in 2024, and again in 2025 to his current role as Community Building Program Manager. Jesus’s journey with Hospitality House began long before he joined the staff. New to San Francisco and unsure where to turn, he first walked through the doors of the Community Building Program seeking resources. After volunteering and witnessing firsthand the depth of care and commitment that Hospitality House offers the community, he knew he wanted to be part of that mission. Despite having no prior experience, Jesus was given the opportunity to serve, and he hasn’t looked back since. He’s proud and grateful to be in a place where he can give back, uplift others, and make a meaningful difference every day.

CHERIE DAVIS

SIXTH STREET SELF-HELP CENTER PROGRAM MANAGER

Cherie Davis had been in the Tenderloin for many years, walking by the Tenderloin Self-Help Center and saying to herself that one day she would work for Hospitality House. Her wish came true in 2013 when she was hired as a part-time peer advocate for the agency’s Shelter Program. After two years in the Shelter Program, Cherie became a Case Manager of the Tenderloin Self-Help Center. As a Case Manager, Cherie assisted community members in stabilization by finding housing and medical assistance. She realized her passion was working in the Shelter Program and in July 2018 was hired on as its manager. In October 2019, Cherie was hired as the Program Manager for the Sixth Street Self-Help Center, where she and her staff provide assistance and relief for many community members dealing with issues spurred by the pandemic. In February 2022, Cherie was honored by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors during Black History Month as a prominent community leader.

TIFFANY JACKSON

TENDERLOIN SELF-HELP CENTER PROGRAM MANAGER

Tiffany Jackson has nearly a decade of experience in community-based workforce programs. Over the years, Tiffany has built a highly competent workforce team and established Hospitality House’s workforce development program as a model for the City by tirelessly elevating the needs of low-income, vulnerable job seekers. Tiffany is acknowledged as a powerful force in San Francisco’s workforce development field and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Tiffany is a San Francisco native and hopes to bring her unique personality, fearless advocacy, and forward-thinking vision to help guide the City’s workforce.

EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM MANAGER

Eduardo Leon joined Hospitality House in August 2022 as a Bilingual Peer Advocate with the Employment Program. Just a few months later, in December 2022, he stepped into the role of Bilingual Case Manager, where his dedication and leadership quickly became evident. Within a year and a half, Eduardo advanced to Program Coordinator, and soon after, he was entrusted with leading the Tenderloin Neighborhood Job Center as Program Manager. His journey is rooted in the re-entry opportunities that San Francisco provides, and through his supervisory and leadership experience, Eduardo has come full circle, contributing back to the very organization that once opened doors for him. Today, under his guidance, he and his team are helping place more than 300 community members each year into training and meaningful employment, carrying forward a mission of opportunity, empowerment, and growth.

HALEY SUMMERFIELD

COMMUNITY ARTS PROGRAM MANAGER

Haley Summerfield joined Hospitality House in 2022 as the Ceramics Studio Assistant for the Community Arts Program (CAP). In 2024, she became the CAP program Coordinator, and in 2025, stepped into the role of Program Manager. Haley holds an MFA in Visual Art from San Francisco State University and a BFA from Southern Oregon University. She maintains a studio practice grounded in disability justice and brings over a decade of experience in the Bay Area’s grassroots arts scene. As Program Manager, Haley continues to strengthen CAP’s mission as a sanctuary space for artistic exploration, recovery, and radical joy. She brings a unique blend of administrative leadership, curatorial insight, and firsthand community trust to the role. Her leadership is rooted in harm reduction, peer support, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of creativity to build connection, resilience, and community.

AURORA WALLACE

FINANCE MANAGER

Aurora Wallace came to Hospitality House in 2023 as a Finance Manager.  She believes in the power of community and giving, each one teaches one, fostering growth, and helping individuals turn dreams into plans. She sprinkles kindness everywhere she goes and has grown in life simply by lifting others. Helping people tap into their untapped potential is her focus and drive. She has over 15 years of experience in finance with a background in the legal, financial, and nonprofit sectors.  She adopts a work hard and play harder strategy. Her first love is comedy, followed by animals, arts & entertainment, travel, and the great outdoors. She is a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and with that, she is ecstatic to be part of a winning movement.
