2023 - 2024 Annual Report

Dear Friends, Supporters & Colleagues, 
 
All of us at Hospitality House are excited to present our 2023-2024 Annual Report. The theme of the report is Stories from the Streets. By recognizing some of the stories of unhoused residents on the streets of the City – we hope that our work can honor their courage every day.
 
This past year has been marked by significant achievements, including;

• Our Annual Art Auction raised more than $300,000 to support Hospitality House, dozens of talented neighborhood artists, and get us closer to our goal of buying a permanent home for our Community Arts Program, thanks to generous supporters like you;
• Our innovative housing placement work – a unique public/private partnership - helped more than 300 San Francisco residents obtain or maintain housing and exit or avoid homelessness, including the original 20 residents from our 24-hour Shelter Program;
• Our Employment Program’s new space in the neighborhood, brought our Neighborhood Job Center and Employment under one roof – combined, we helped more than 350 vulnerable job seekers find full or part time employment, or job training.  
• More than 800 community residents participated in one or more community engagement events sponsored by our two Self Help Centers and our Community Building Program;

 
We know that our work becomes more crucial every year, the conditions more difficult, and the struggles more challenging. Working together, we know that a better future is possible, in every way we can imagine it, in the City of St. Francis.
